Pioneers in Smarter Heat Transfer Fluids™
HT Materials Science (‘HTMS’) was founded in 2018 to develop a heat transfer fluid for commercial and industrial HVAC markets. The founders of HTMS come from the engineering, scientific and finance sectors, and have decades of experience in the development and commercialization of nano particle based products. In 2019 HTMS introduced its first heat transfer fluid, Maxwell™, named after James Clerk Maxwell, the pioneering scientist who first developed the concept of nano fluids in the 19th century. In 2020 HTMS received patent approvals from the USPTO for the formulation and manufacturing of Maxwell™. The development of our second-generation heat transfer fluid continues with our research and development partners at Science Foundation Ireland and AMBER (Advanced Materials and Bio-Engineering Research), Trinity College Dublin.
Through 2020 and 2021 HTMS successfully deployed Maxwell™ at commercial and industrial sites across Asia, Europe and North America. Headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, HTMS has sales and production facilities in Italy and London, and, as a result of market demand, has recently opened a US sales office in New York City.
In 2021 HTMS closed its Series A financing round, which was led by Saudi Aramco Energy Ventures, and with this financing, the company will continue to expand its commercial and industrial deployments, including the commissioning of its first industrial scale commercial production plant in Lecce, Italy in June 2022.
